Privacy notice

The operator trading as NippyPet will be the controller for personal data used to run this service. The operator’s verified legal identity, service address and privacy contact have not yet been supplied and must be published before launch. Please see the contact page for the current status.

• consent preferences stored in the first-party nippypet_consent cookie;
• where analytics consent is given, event type, page path, relevant product or offer identifiers, an optional session identifier and limited event metadata;
• when an offer link is used, a random click identifier, offer, merchant and product identifiers, the recorded marketing-consent state and click time; and
• ordinary security and server logs that the hosting and application stack may create. Their exact fields and retention still require verification before launch.

NippyPet does not currently provide customer accounts or take payments on the public storefront.

The consent cookie remembers your choices. Optional analytics is used only when analytics consent is present to understand how the service is used. Offer-click records support redirect operation, troubleshooting, measurement and affiliate administration.

Consent is the intended basis for optional analytics and affiliate-network marketing. The operator must document and verify the UK GDPR lawful basis, necessity, balancing assessment where applicable, and retention period for each remaining processing purpose before launch.

A “View at Merchant” link passes through NippyPet’s consent-aware redirect. With marketing consent, it may use an affiliate destination and the retailer or affiliate network may then receive information from the browser under its own privacy notice. Without marketing consent, NippyPet uses a non-affiliate retailer destination where one is available, or returns the visitor to a relevant NippyPet category. NippyPet still records the limited click record described above.

The final hosting providers, processors, affiliate networks, international-transfer safeguards and data-sharing terms have not yet been confirmed. They must be added to this notice before activation.

You can accept all, enable analytics only or reject all from the consent banner. Until a persistent preference control is added, you can remove the nippypet_consent cookie in your browser and reload the site to choose again. See the cookie notice.

Depending on the circumstances, UK data-protection law may give you rights of access, correction, erasure, restriction, objection and portability, and the right to withdraw consent. You may also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office. A verified route for exercising these rights must be published on the contact page before launch.

The consent cookie is configured for up to 365 days. Retention periods for analytics events, click records and technical logs have not yet been approved. NippyPet must set and publish them, confirm deletion procedures and test appropriate technical and organisational safeguards before launch.
